How does the theme of Good vs. Evil (& their existence in each other) is found in both Lord of the flies and Macbeth??** What I mean is how does...

In  book "The Lord of the Flies" and Shakespeare’s play "Macbeth" the plots center on the battle between good and evil.

In "Lord of the Flies" a group of boys crash lands on a remote island.  The island could be considered paradise but the innate nature of man's evil side begins to envelope the boys in a bitter battle against one another.  The two primary boys that are adversaries Ralph and Jack represent good and evil.

In "Macbeth," there are good and bad characters who represent good and evil. Lady Macbeth’s character reveals her evil side early on but we do not expect this of Macbeth until he commits murder.  We then see that man's evil side emerge.  In Shakespeare’s play Duncan is represented as a good king who exhibits love for his subjects.  Macbeth kills Duncan exposing Macbeth's choice to follow his evil nature.  Macbeth also murder's his friend Banquo.
